The Artist

Brian Sullivan was exposed to the Civil War at an early age. He was born and raised in Maryland and was able to visit the battlefields in the surrounding area.  The Civil War fascinated Brian and he was always anxious to learn more about the history.  Brian always felt that the reenactments were important in helping people understand the battles,  but it wasn't always convenient for Brian to travel to all of the different states and battlefields to witness these great performances.

While attending the University of Maryland, where he received his bachelor's degree in Advertising Design,  Brian discovered a different way to recreate battle scenes from the Civil War.  One of Brian's final projects involved creating a piece of art which incorporated the Gettysburg Address.  Brian was quite inspired and decided to create a diorama of Pickett's Charge. That project inspired him and he began creating new dioramas in his spare time.

Soon, Brian's home was filled with dioramas and he was invited to show his pieces at a community event. The dioramas created such an outside interest,  Brian decided to turn his hobby into a business.

Brian and his wife Michelle currently reside in Burbank, California.
